Julie Allerton

  • Research Field Specialist

Julie received bachelor’s degrees in psychology and nonfiction writing at the University of Pittsburgh. As an undergraduate student, she assisted with research projects that explored aspects of team innovation in college product design classes, and from there she developed an interest in what motivates people to enter STEM fields. Her research interests are still broad, but they include creativity and innovation, teamwork, gender differences in the workplace, and female and minority underrepresentation in STEM fields. Looking into the future, she hopes to enter a PhD program in social or organizational psychology.
