Ariana Vasquez, Ph.D.

Ariana received her PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her BA in psychology and MA in education, both from Austin College in Sherman, TX. With her background in psychology and education, she spent 5 years teaching in both elementary and middle schools in Dallas, TX. Her research interests include parental and teacher autonomy support and its impact on student's motivation and achievement, interest and interest development, and the relationship between psychological and physical health. In her free time she enjoys reading, running, and hiking.
