Christopher Thyberg, MSW

Christopher received his master’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work. In his studies, Christopher focused on diversity and inequality, international development, urban policy, and children and youth development.  Before joining the lab, Christopher worked as a mental health therapist serving children and families with a diverse set of mental health needs in Allegheny County.  Christopher’s current research interests pertain to the intersection of race, discrimination, mental health, and school policy. In his free time, Christopher coaches high school soccer, takes his dog on walks, and repeatedly watches the first five seasons of The Office.
