Graduate Researcher Jamie Amemiya Awarded the Tim Post Award for Excellence in Research

Congratulations to Jamie Amemiya on being awarded the Tim Post Award for Excellence in Research for her paper titled: Leaders and followers in juvenile offending: Distinguishing correlates and adjustment to incarceration. The award is given to a psychology graduate student to recognize research excellence. Tim Post was a graduate student in cognitive psychology who earned his PhD in 1986. Shortly after graduating, he was diagnosed with leukemia. In his final months of life, his family asked that a memorial award be set up to honor his memory. The Tim Post Award plaque is on display in the first floor lobby display case. The plaque contains the names of award recipients from 1988 to the present.
